Kelly Costa Gravitt is pleased to announce the formation of KC Spa Direction and Promotion.

With 20 years of experience in the spa industry, she is now available to help others develop their spa businesses into unique experiences. Working with plastic surgeons, dermatologists and a variety of other medical professionals, Kelly can provide quality attention to your spa or medical business in the areas of operations, training and promotions.

Kelly is experienced in spa development, product selection, treatment methods, training of personnel and will set up a cancer and/ or teen spa programs to best fit your needs should you wish to include these special programs. She also speaks at medical and spa conferences emphasizing the importance of detailed spa operation plans and shares her knowledge on how to accomplish this as well as the importance of giving back to the community. Marketing and promoting your business is key to the success of your spa sales. This is an area in which she excels. For example, while with SK Sanctuary in La Jolla, she developed a program to treat cancer patients to a night away from their therapy and enjoy complimentary spa treatments. She is also on the board of the American Melanoma Foundation.

Specializing in public relations with the media, Kelly Costa Gravitt was featured on the Today Show, CNN, KGTV (where she was the recipient of the Leadership Award in 2002 and in 2005), and periodicals Day Spa Magazine, Skin, Inc., Plastic Surgery Magazine, London Times and Dermatology, to name but a few. She recently secured a date with Erin Brockovich to speak at one of Kellys spa cancer programs.

A dedicated leader, Kelly has assisted the education committee for the International Spa and Fitness Association (ISPA) and has assisted with the writing of supervisory skills and leadership books for ISPA. She has also been a speaker at National Medical and Spa Conferences.
