Kelly is best known for her work developing programs for breast cancer, prostate cancer and melanoma patient support in the medical spa industry. Her inspiration and drive were responsible for Breast Cancer Nights and Melanoma Nights made available at the SK Sanctuary in La Jolla, California. These efforts, along with Kelly’s ability to develop local and national media support, have set apart the spas that Kelly has directed.

• Started the nationally known breast cancer spa program and continues to share her knowledge with other spa professionals in hopes that one spa in every city will do the same program for cancer patients and survivors.

Bill Griffith, a breast cancer survivor spoke for Kelly at one of the SK Institute Spa programs for breast cancer patients and survivors that she started in April 2001. Bill is a morning news anchor on KGTV Channel 10 and nominated Kelly for the 10 Leadership Award.
